Why us

Why work with us?

You could do this on your own: the official information exists and is free. Here is what we bring on top of that.

01
A real time saving
We spare you the search for information, the cross-checking across several sites, and the doubt over which version of a document is the right one.
02
A single point of contact, start to finish
A qualified jurist checks every document before submission and remains your single point of contact, from the first letter to the interview.
03
Respect for deadlines and order
A certificate ordered too early and expired by the time of filing remains the most frequent mistake at this stage: we make sure each document is requested in the right order and within its validity period.
04
Knowledge of Geneva's specifics
Real-time tracking via your personal space, backed by a daily practice of the requirements specific to the OCPM.

Your documents are hosted in Switzerland, in Geneva. They are deleted as soon as the law no longer requires us to keep them. No data is shared with a third party beyond what is strictly necessary to process your file.

Ordinary naturalisation is open to anyone who has resided in Switzerland for at least 10 years (with double counting for years spent between the ages of 8 and 18) and in Geneva for 2 years, including the last 12 months. Facilitated naturalisation is reserved for spouses of Swiss nationals (after 5 years of marriage and 3 years of residence). Our firm supports exclusively the ordinary procedure in Geneva.
The total duration is generally 24 to 36 months from the submission of the complete file. Step A (pre-application) takes 2 to 4 weeks. Step B (file review) can take 18 to 30 months. The official OCPM interview takes place after the review. The swearing-in ceremony takes place approximately 6 months after the favourable decision.
Our support covers the preparation and submission of the file to the OCPM (Step B). The following stages then take place directly between you and the authorities, in several phases: review and registration of the file by the OCPM, official verification interview, transmission to the Confederation for federal naturalisation authorisation (SEM), then the final decision of the Geneva Council of State (or, in specific cases, the Grand Council). Once the favourable decision is notified, you will be invited to the swearing-in ceremony, which makes your Swiss nationality effective. This phase typically lasts 18 to 30 months. You can record these milestones yourself from your dashboard, in the "Tracking after submission" section, to keep track of your progress.
Step A (pre-application) consists of sending the OCPM a simple letter plus a copy of your identity document by post. The OCPM checks eligibility and returns the official form with the required documents checked off. Step B (file preparation) is the submission of the complete file with the form filled in and all required documents.
The FIDE test (fide-service.ch) is the most common: level B1 spoken and A2 written. Other certificates recognised by the Confederation are also accepted: DELF, DALF, TCF, Alliance française. If you were schooled in French or work in French, alternatives exist. Contact us to check your situation.
